I was recently creating another Repeating Detail (RD)-related tool, and found myself wondering if there's an Enumeration in the API for the layout values for this parameter:
elementType.get_Parameter(BuiltInParameter.REPEATING_DETAIL_LAYOUT);
Google showed my previous post (finding and modifying Repeating Detail type), LOL, which gives the integer values:
// 1=Fixed Distance, 2=Fixed Number, 3=Maximum Spacing, 4=Fill Available Space
But I was hoping for something a little more robust/official. Searching the API gave: SpacingRuleLayout Enumeration
with the same names/values except for 4 (MinimumSpacing vs FillAvailableSpace), though that has a similar meaning in this context.

| None | No points or lines will be created. |
| FixedDistance | Points or lines are separated by a fixed distance. |
| FixedNumber | Fixed number of points or lines with uniform distance between them. |
| MaximumSpacing | Points or lines are separated by at most the max distance. |
| MinimumSpacing | Points or lines are separated by at least the minimum distance. |
Also, that Enumeration seems to be for a DividedPath, whatever that's used for, so I don't think using it over hard-coded integers would give me any real benefit (and would introduce an issue if that were to change).
