I'd like to be able to customize a Navigation Wheel to show the view controls I use most and not show the ones that I rarely use or are duplicates. For instance, using the Full Navigation Wheel as a starting point, I'd like to replace Zoom with Increase/Decrease Focal Length, get rid of Up/Down since Pan incorporates that function, and add Restore Original Center and Level Camera.
And... since I'd like to be able to place the tools that move the camera around the outside of the wheel and the ones that just aim it on the inside, that might mean that the number of tools in each ring would not be locked to four.
Since each user will likely have a different optimal layout, perhaps a User Navigation Wheel could be tied to each login. Here's what mine might look like -- yours would likely be quite different.
