Custom Arrow Style

Custom Arrow Style

It would be great if Autodesk would allow for custom arrow styles so we can match our design standards when using arrowheads.
I know how to create custom families with all kinds of parameters and options.
Why not have a family template or even the option to create a custom arrow style?

Also, why is there an arrow angle limitation set from 0° to 90°?
I'd love to see an option to open it up to 180° or even higher for some things.

Even if there were an option to remove the circle on the elevation target symbol.

Thoughts?

@kimberly_fuhrman-jones this idea should be put in with https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/revit-ideas/custom-leader-arrowhead/idi-p/7092433

Thank you so much for everything!

@Ric_Weber @kimberly_fuhrman-jones
Thank you for adding me to an eight year long request forum.
I already have a few posts in that very forum from when I was at a different firm that still have yet to be addressed.
I was really trying to steer this conversation into a more specific request regarding JUST custom Arrow Styles and not Arrowheads.
If I were able to create a custom Arrow Style, then I could use that style in the Arrowhead feature that's severely limited.

Is this even on the roadmap at Autodesk?

@thernandezCM9EV,  the Arrow Styles that are used to make the Arrowheads is limited you are correct, but any custom arrowhead would need to start with a custom arrow style option.  So I think we're all saying the same thing.

As far as the limit on the degrees on an arrowhead I completely agree and I believe that point is brought up in the other idea in the comments somewhere, if not, this comment would do it.

@Ric_Weber Consider voting anyway - since it will add to out earlier votes.

Thanks for responding to this much desired request, but according to Sridhar at Autodesk, this isn't even on the radar with zero plans of implementation.

Oh well, I guess.
So much for customer service and appreciation for our needs.
