I would love to see a little checkbox which allows disjoin when in the align command.
Often lines are connected and so when you realign one the rest try to follow. Often this means unintended /sloppy consequences.
I have had to to move (with disjoin selected) every second line, then realign, and then extend (same effect than if you wouldn't have chosen to disjoin).
Having an option to disjoin on align will save a lot of repetitive frustrating work.
