Currently there are three types of element classification for asset tracking: Uniformat, Master Format & OmniClass. What if Revit assigns an automatic classification based on certain user criteria such as LOD, Category, and purpose. For example if the user creates a custom furniture system family, they get prompted if this family will be used for asset tracking in facility management, and what is the LOD (100-500), and an automatic OmniClass classification is assigned.
