Posting for a client: Hoping for some way to control imports into Revit files.. maybe a review process or "cleaning up" process in place before bringing it into the environment. So often files brought in weigh the model down, make it larger, create unwanted model lines, materials, patterns, etc. which result in poor model performance. I don't want to eliminate the use of bringing in these items, just have some sort of check-point in place to maintain the health the of the Revit model before accepting it into our environement.
