Having had 15+ years of experience using the AutoCAD interface, I really miss the extended text / mtext / dimension editing tools that were available in AutoCAD. This includes fraction handling, symbol insertion and in place formatting to name the biggest offenders in Revit. The work arounds I continue to use are just that - workarounds. They take more time to implement and are a chore to keep organized in my workflow. Please port the text handling portions of ACAD to Revit. Revit is a great tool for producing accurate models, but annotations are still required to make legible, meaningful drawings - please don't shortchange that portion of the software.
