The bottom of view ranges for plans are not respected for floors, stairs and ramps (see "Elements Below the Bottom Clip Plane"). This means that you will see a stair even if it is below your view range. This may be a bug, but the railings from the levels below also seem to show up.
I would like to have the ability to disable this obscure rule so that stairs from below only show if I choose to include them in my view ranges. It has been lamented that there are no controls to hide stair elements below the bottom of the view range line. This forces users into confusion (because it is not well documented and there is no clear explanation as to why this is as such) and/or a lot of useless manual work.
Here is an example:

This breaks the purpose of the view range. Please allow us to use the view range as it was logically intended. Things out of the view range should not show up in our plans and if they do, we need to be able to control them appropriately.
