Did you mean:

allow floor to be hosted/attached to topo

allow floor to be hosted/attached to topo

I have faced many cases where I need to attach a floor onto a topo surface without the use of a building pad.

this comes especially in landscape design and site modeling, creating a path or pavement does not require any pad or foundation to be made.

I know that I can use a pad as a graphical representation, however, this will interfere with the calculation of cut and fill and at the same time with the schedules of quantities.

I hope in the future we can host a floor onto a topography and make it follow the terrain/topo slope and height.

This sounds like the topo layering discussed in this wish

Topography Enhancements

consider asking @kimberly_fuhrman-jones to combine your idea with this idea if you feel they are they same, similar or related. Ignore if something completely different.

well, look at that.

It is similar in some way.

I've posted a comment on that post, I think it's better to take this as part of that idea.

thnx a lot.

Thank you @haitham.anwer94  and @wr.marshall . This is definitely similar to the much more general Topography Enhancements post. I would like to keep this separate only because it is difficult for us to mark a conglomerate of Ideas as "Accepted" if only a few of the features within that post are selected for improvement. Topography is certainly a hot topic! I will keep an eye on the votes here, and combine if it doesn't gain traction. How does that sound?
