Currently, conditional statements in formulas can be used to define different family scenarios in Revit. They do not apply to every type of parameter.
I would like to introduce the idea of extending this functionality to the Material Parameter which would allow the assigned material to be controlled according to other conditions that occur in the family, without having to create a separate geometry.
For example, the Material of family elements can be controlled with the 'IF' condition depending on the Function parameter.
