Adding arrowhead to a line

Adding arrowhead to a line

We need the ability to add any type of arrowhead to one or both sides of a line.

This is already possible using line-based detail items or annotation symbols (dual arrows).

I wouldn't want this for all lines as someone could do a select all and add an arrow to a start or finish and arrows would appear on all lines in a project.

@Anonymous Do you need it to follow a curve? Otherwise, we also use a line-based Detail Component (with instance properties to turn on/off the "arrowheads" at each end) as @Anonymous suggests.

how to do it in detail item? I need to control the width of a leader line or add an arrow head to a line.

choose "Detail Item line based.rft"

draw line & arrow heads as desired (recommend controlling visibility with new "show start..." & "...end arrow" instance parameters)

it could be an instance parameter or a type parameter, no reason to be scared!

It should be possible to draw a leader line without a textbox, and it should work similarly to a detail line. Alternatively, there should be the possibility to add an arrowhead to a detail line as an instance choice, similar to how you would do it in any Adobe software.
