Add Subcategory to Detail Items

We know that the Subcategory option is active in Generic Models families.

It is noteworthy that the same feature is not activated for Detail Items families until now.

If this feature is also active for Detail items families, I think it will be very useful for Revit users.

I dont know, what you are searching for. But in the Detail Items Familie it is possible to create new Subcategories.

In case, that this are lines, you can set it with the Line directly or use the button for "Subcategory"

I think you meant " filled region" in the detail category.
Only you can control the VG of the line by subcategory but the filled region.
