Accessible link for standards for multiple models.

Accessible link for standards for multiple models.

My idea is to have a centralized and accessible platform (or connective link??) that connects integrated materials, system families, standards, etc. from one model to another. We are working with multiple Architectural Revit links that requires consistency across multiple fronts such as materials, system family information, etc. but managing consistency on several links proves to be very onerous. So this is our case, we have these Architectural Models:

1. Arch - Basement

2. Arch - Ground/Podium
3. Arch - Building A

4. Arch - Building B
5. Arch - Building C

Elements such as intertenancy walls will have consistent profiles and typology between these models. Most of the time, minor changes that happen in these areas in one model, should be applied to other buildings.

The way we manage multiple Architecture models is creating a 'shopping file' where we load and edit all entities that requires consistency across multiple models, and painstakingly load the information to every models. If a feature where multiple models can share consistent information and content easily accessible within the confines of Revit, it would greatly help teams working on complex project that requires several Revit files.
