Shadows not showing up when floor is drawn in

I've been struggling to figure out why my shadows are only showing up outside the walls of this house, and I think I've narrowed it down to the floor. When I add a floor, the shadows cast by the interior walls are no longer visible. I'm a bit of a beginner at Revit, so I'm not sure what to try.

1. Floor is drawn at Level 2

2. Walls are drawn at Level 2

3. Shadows are set to be cast at Level 2

4. This happens on the floor plan view and the 3D view

I've attached images of flooring drawn, and one with it removed. It's also worth noting, we're working with Design Options in this project, though that doesn't seem to be affecting it, and I'm working in Revit 2021

in the view properties, check the Graphics Display Options and make sure Shadows > Cast Shadows is checked.

Emily,

Can you do a screencap of your Viewrange settings?

Insert witty comment here.

Are you going to post the file?  That might be the next troubleshooting step. Make sure it is replicable by others.  If it ain't, then the problem could be hardware related.

Post the file so we can take a look what is wrong. I cannot replicated your issue using our own sample file.
