While clicking on a linked model, one of the MEP guys received this error message. This happens when he is in any view. When I replicated the situation on my machine, the file worked perfectly. That led me to think that his machine needed a Temp folder cleanup (it did!!). Now after the cleanup the problem persists.
Why does this happen? And how can we fix it?

Does this only happen when he clicks on the linked file or when he starts to draw?
Also, have you tried to turn off hardware acceleration in the options of Revit?

Go to the "R" in the top left-hand corner and then click on options in the right-hand corner. Once there graphics tab and turn off the hardware acceleration on his machine

Update - he can work in the file, but things go crazy and the window shuts down when he clicks on the linked model.

Thank you, @ennujozlagam. That machine is the same build as the machines that I work on. The file works well for me, not on this other machine.

@Sahay_R have you solve your issue? the worse scenario approach is to uninstall and reinstall the Revit program. It could be some files are corrupted. it's only my suggestion. thanks

Thank you @ennujozlagam. Yes a complete reinstall was done. I haven't heard anything afterwards. No news is good news, I guess!
