IFC Export Problem- Wall Cuts

Hello,

I am facing an issue rated to  Revit IFC Exporter

When I export IFC file from Revit 2021 to Orca (IFC Mengenübernehmen) , SimpleBIM software  or  even solibri , I found that there is missing data rated to the doors cuts in the walls. In other word It shows that there are doors in the walls in 3D but when I hide the Doors elements from the view, It shows the walls without any cuts in it for the doors.

I am using Revit 2021 with last update for IFC exporter (21.2.1.0) ,  Also I am using  the standard IFC settings ( IFC 2*3 Coordination View 2.0 Setup).  While my colleague in the office  tried to export it from old Version like IFc Exporter (21.1.0.0),  he found that it works good.

As you are seeing the screenshot, I would like to know why it happens , thanks for your help

Foremost, thanks a lot for your reply. In our office we use Revit 2021, until now we did not buy  Revit 2022, I read in Github that they are developed a new IFC exporter 22.1.0 which I can not install it on  Revit 2021. I hope that Autodesk  developed a new IFC exporter for Revit 2021. because Trial Version will  be valid for only 30 days which  not useful for our office. Thanks again for your efforts and your help

Hi @Anonymous

In case of Revit 2021 -> unistall IFC 2021.

Revit 2022 exports IFC (with \ without IFC 2022) correctly.

Hi @Anonymous

As I wrote in post 8 and as it is written on github, release 22.1.0 is "for Revit 2022 out-of-the-box".

The same problem with IFC export from rvt2021.

So what should we install instead of IFC 2021 when we don't have rvt2022 in office?

@marcin.szulc76AAZ I found  a script for IFC exporter 21.3.0 on GitHub, but there is not  an installation program  in website, only coding script.

Apparently we don't have this problem any more, but unfortunately I don' know what was improved...

Probably some updates helped.
