The enhancement request is to be able customize and to change macro buttons such as: a default library, add own picture, change color of button, change text.   It would be good to be able to change macro buttons to something that makes sense  to you for the command you add.   When macro buttons matrix is full, they are numbered and black on grey. When assigning buttons are blue (odd) and red (even). (But that does not become visible in button matrix.)         The increasing use of macros limits the 10 buttons. As Bi-injection only supports for Midplane meshes. Due to complex geometry which is not suitable for midplane model, it is necessary to do model in 3D mesh. Conformal Cooling channel planning wizard The use of 3D-printed metal inserts and use of conformal cooling is increasing.   I would like to see a supporting modeling tool to create conformal cooling channels in Moldflow.   Follows the shape. Using standard guidelines for cooling. Initially circular beams. To Lock View, Lock All Views and Lock Plot, Lock All Plots are nice and useful options in Synergy interface.   Sometimes, when comparing more studies there is a need to unlock a single view or study, to remove the graphics synchronization. Speeds up, and also sometimes turning off graphics synchronization to review that single study not affecting other studies at the moment, is helpful.   Applies as well for the option to remove the result synchronization, such as unlock of study plot, for a single study when many studies are open.   Would be very handy if this could be added to Synergy.   Also quick command in context menu to unlock single study view.   Thanks. With Moldflow 2017.3 when doing an overmolding simulation and changing the material of the second shot, all results of the study are deleted. Even those results of the first shot are deleted, though they should be unaffected.   I don't remember exactly, but I'm sure that some time ago it was possible to change the material of the second shot without loosing all results.   I think Moldflow should keep all results that are unaffected by the changes. It would be very useful if a selected face or surface boundary could be selected and created as a curve or line in Moldflow Synergy. This helps modeling , instead of doing it in CAD, and translate via IGES. Then "Nodes by dividing curve" could be used directly.     Regards, Berndt Show More

Hi, make "show points" default for compare materials, or at least to remember (save the setting) when used.   The "Show Points" are always off by default. Now it has to be checked every time...   And, fix when checking "Show Points", the to get the symbols   Now the workaround is: For viscosity example: when comparing,  check "Show Points" Enter Plot Properties. It should be possible to using "select by layer" in macros and/or "select entity by layer".   Currently you need to select entity/entities (using for example Predicate) , and the look up the layer it is assigned to, and if matching search name add to a selection list. This is time consuming.  For example using Predicate to select Triangles, then get the triangle layer by using GetEntityLayer.   Or is there a faster way to do this operation available?     Show More

The Synergy UI has the option to add Study title in study graphics window. I would like to see a ”Process Settings” option that could be displayed/overlaid in graphics window. The data to be displayed should be possible to set in Application Options (and maybe limited to some 7 rows or so). Currently, when using the mesh selection tool, "Select Facing Entities", in a Dual Domain model, elements are occasionally still selected on the opposite side of the part. Zooming in closer to the geometry can help resolve this, however it would be nice to not have to worry about incorrectly selected elements.    This issue is tied to the way Moldflow is configured in regards to utilizing the graphics OpenGL option to help determine what is "front" facing. The current configuration seems to have difficulty with models that are very thin (with comparing to their overall dimensions) that also have a fine mesh applied, resulting in the misrepresenting of elements on the opposite side of the part.      Show More

We want the material comparison windows to be more flexible and easier to use.   Synergy should remember the size and position of the window(s), allow the user setting process parameters, taking notes (like Study Notes or Plot Notes) or changing properties of results while viewing Material details and/or comparisons, remember the selected columns and their order in the material database table, provide means to easily sort and reorder the columns in the material database table, support the scroll wheel in the material table and material comparison report   It should also be possible to view details of the material of the current study easily while setting process parameters, interpreting results or taking notes.   Furthermore we would like to put the selected or used material of the current study to the personal database easily.   Any further ideas or comments?   Show More

A transfer button from relative processing conditions results to absolute injection molding machine setup.   This mainly refers to standard thermoplastic injection molding.   I would like to see a data transfer from relative processing conditions simulation results to absolute injection molding machine setup. When working with simulations the relative processing conditions are mostly used. When completed, it is time to hand over some initial settings for injection molding machine setup. At this time it would be helpful to have some realistic absolute machine setup data, from relative processing results.   1) Simulations with the relative processing conditions completed 2) Click "transfer to absolute" 3) Select a molding machine or enter molding machine data 4) Use relative results to create absolute IMM parameters 5) Set the absolute parameters in a study, and rerun, to confirm absolute settings. 6) Create a IMM setup data sheet, (yes, is a starting point, and should be aware of that)   The setup data sheet is simplified, as many unknown settings for IMM.   I am aware of uncertainties, going from theory to practice, but this would be a helpful starting point for a bunch of studies.   Thanks.
