What version do I need to buy to enable network rendering?

I currently have Maya 2015 standalone. I am interested in upgrading to Maya 2016 with the ability to render on multiple machines. Can someone explain how the licensing works? Would I need a cloud subscription? Or maintenance? Any help is appreciated.

You automatically get to use a render farm up to 5 computers with each stand-alone seat of Maya.  Network seats also get 5, but it's a little more involved.  But ultimately, either way, you get 5.
