Hi, how can i create a VBA macro to set an assembly BOM Structure to Purchased?

Hi,

Remove the last "set":

Sub Purchased()
    Dim oAsmDoc As AssemblyDocument
    Set oAsmDoc = ThisApplication.ActiveDocument
    Dim oAsmDef As AssemblyComponentDefinition
    Set oAsmDef = oAsmDoc.ComponentDefinition
    oAsmDef.BOMStructure = kPurchasedBOMStructure
End Sub

I think the problem was the active document.

this was not the assembly.

both should work it think.

Sometimes the number is needed.

but as I understood only for illogic rules it is necessary sometimes.

Please  mark as solved for administrative reasons, but also for MechMachineMan he only forgot to remove the last "set". 

MechMachineMan provided the rest of coding, to be honest......
