ilogic for automating make components option

Can anyone help me in creating iLogic code for automating "Make Components" feature for a sheet metal part which is having more than two solid bodies.

Yes there is an option of make components in inventor but I want to automate it using iLogic, can you provide few examples about how to automate make components option.

• or the complete handling of assembly creation part creation and location and file name definitions?

I want to automate complete assembly creation with default file location and only file part names as input.

I am little bit familiar with vb script and as well as iLogics.

It will be good if you can provide the sample code as early as possible, a week time is ok for me.

With i-logic this is not possible as I know. Because you cannot create application events. What do you suggest to do...
I only can provide you the vb.net code for this. But you need to provide me the add in setup from your side. In vb.net..

What do you mean by add in set-up? if you can tell exactly which files you required, I will check with my IT team and provide you the files.

if you could already prepare the add in set up in vb.net then I can try to add coding to it.

Because preparing the add in selves is the most of the work I suggest that you prepare this.

So afterwards I can put this as text to the code you need to prepare...

I checked with IT team and they told me that If you share the vb code they will create the add-in setup.

Hi,

Shouldn't be minimum input maximum output..
If I need to check the code I need to have an add in for this, so please advise your
IT to be a little more willing to help you and your organisation with providing the add in.
I am not going to prepare this add in because it is always a little different for each add in regarding settings etc and is too time consuming. The code only would not be the problem I assume.
An add in will never contain confidential information, so I don't see the problem.

Please let me know what your IT is willing to do for you.
