Content Center generated parts

When creating content center parts. Read-only parts are generated based on a standard .ipt.

In order to get the right BOM text in the right columns of my custom BOM, I need to combine some of the info from the description field and the part number field and paste it into the description field. I also need a custom field "Remark" in which I will put the directive description.

These are manual operations and on top of that the generated part is read-only so it's a real pain to get things right.

Is there a workaround to save me some work.

Edit the CCF (Content Center Family).
You need to create a read write CCF for this.
If you try to change this in the generated files manually you will have the situation that the files will be overwritten with the default settings and predefined situation in the CCF.
The following:

• Create Custom Library
• Copy the to be modified CCF to this library
• Edit the definitions in the CCF
• And only use this in your designs
