[BUG] Buggy, unstable and inconsistant UI and UI settings

1. The UI settings are not consistent for when the editor is in the main Fusion window vs. outside the main window(drag the tab into a separate window). One example is the "Hide Comments" option is missing.

The comments panel doesn't display normally when the editor is in its own window. It pops up when the file is saved for the first time during the session.

2. The collapsed UI panels automatically pop up when clicking the data panel.

WHY CAN'T WE JUST PIN THE UI IN PLACE?????????????????

I feel like this is a recent BUG. Don't remember the selection filter and variant should show when editing components and footprints.

Hi @anranlioculus ,

I hope you're doing well. I'm not entirely clear on what the issue with the UI is. Depending on the size of your screen and what's open the UI may close some panels to make room for what you are now trying to open. That's by design.

Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you.

Best Regards,

Hi Jorge,

I edited the post so the screenshots are ordered accordingly. It's two issues.

I only encountered this problem after the recent update. It wasn't like this before.
This can not possibly be the intended design. See my screenshots below.
Before I opened the left side data panel, the UI panels on the right side were collapsed, which is all good.
When I opened the data panel on the left side, the available screen space became smaller. The UI panels on the right side should remain collapsed.

HOWEVER, it somehow automatically changed into tabs, which occupied more space. And it won't change back even if I close the data panel.

Along  this line, the document layer keeps turning on/opening, even though you keep closing it.

and it apparently was reported previously as well:

There are so many different bugs/problems/errata/workarounds in today's Fusion...where is the current bug list and recommended workarounds, or at least things to be aware of?
