You'll have to upload the model, Right click the component and select export and save as an f3d file. The only idea I have is the surface is a loft and not a true cylinder.

Just a note on lofts, a loft between 2 circles will form a cylinder you can add a thread to but if one end of the loft is not quite circular the loft will not make a cylinder.

Looking at your model you might want to make the thread bigger than the cylinder you have, something like this.
Make a revolve to add some material for the thread.
Then add the thread to the revolve.
