Welcome to the Autodesk Forum community. 

There are many different reasons this error message can pop up. I suggest checking the following things:

• Update graphics driver
• Disable Hardware Acceleration
• Reset Settings to Default
• Try creating a new (local administrator) user account and log on as that
• Disable Firewall, Antivirus, UAC 

A few questions:

Does this happen with all drawings? Even a brand new file? 

What AutoCAD release are you working with?

I recommend that you install this maintenance update to update your product.
