Shortcuts are the first thing people think of when they want to increase productivity.
Navisworks shortcuts are managed in XML format and are generally freely configurable by each user. In this post, we will explain how to manage them.

Here is how to manage shortcuts in Navisworks.

Shortcuts are managed in XML data called RoamerCommands.xml and stored in the following directory.
C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Navisworks Manage 2022\Layout

A brief introduction to the contents of the data is shown in the image below.

If you want to add a new shortcut, just add it using the same sentence syntax as the other commands and edit the shortcut.

Also, since the XML data is stored in Program Files, for example, if you want to register a new shortcut or modify an existing one, you need to have access privileges.
