Hi,
I have a surface (from .tif file) that is currently in 10TM CRS and I need to convert it to UTM, can I do this in Civil 3d, or do I need to do it outside and bring that file into the surface?

Hi Phil,
You can use the >>>Coordinate Transformation Tool<<< or start a new drawing in UTM and bring in the original Tiff file.

Phil,
Sadly, the Coordinate Transformation Tool wasn't introduced until 2023. Maybe time for an update?

Hi Phil,
Thanks for posting and welcome to the Civil 3D forum. In addition to the suggestions above by Dave and Paulo, take a look at this thread on how to convert a drawing to UTM coordinates.
I hope that helps; let us know if you need further assistance.

Thanks for the suggestions. I am unable to do this within Civil 3D, and I have used ArcMap to complete the conversion.
Phil,
ArcMap will transform a Civil 3D Surface?

Not directly, the surface was created from a geotif, so the underlying data is in a format which arcmap can convert
Phil,
Civil 3D can transform a geotiff to whatever coordinate system you're using in your drawing. You don't need to go to ArcMap for that.
