Even though I create issues in 360 Field, I still get many responses to those issues via email. Currently, the only way I can update the issue in 360 Field with that email information is to print the email, then upload that email via the Library Module or the File Attachment Function.      Requested Feature:  Eliminate the Print-Upload/Attach workflow by adding the ability to send an email directly from your emailing software (i.e. Outlook) to the 360 Field Library or directly attach to Issues. Product improvement request:   When launching Navisworks (BIM360), a default setting for which server (US or Europe) would be very helpful. Hi Team, Currently @Anonymous we can markup drawings and reports and generate workflow. BIM360 Platform enable us to export those drawings with the comments but in exported files we can't see the author details and when this Markup was given. Right now some competitors (ie Graphisoft BIMx and DALUX) allow to show model derived plans inside the 3d model view. DALUX even allows to show floor plans that are sketches, manually drawn or coming from non curated software by showing the system two or more matching points. This would allow to make good use of existing documentation and may resolve issues with hard core 2d enthusiasts.   Show More

But we Need power bi to sort the assests in the right order off production. Would be better if we can sort on user created fields so we can produce directly from the ipad. When some users, especially our 3rd party consultant, only are granted permissions to some folders but not all the folders in a BIM 360 DOCs project, they are able to see the whole folder structure on web (with the that feature enabled), but when it comes to Desktop connector, apparently it does not support that and those same users are not able to see the entire folder structure. And what's more, if the project has 2 parent folders that both have sub-folders called "123", and the users are only given the permission to the "123" folders but not the parent folders, in Desktop connector, as they don't see the parent folders and workstation OS does not allow 2 same name folders at the same path, the system will automatically re-name the 2 "123" sub-folders to be one called "123 (1)" and the other one called "123 (2)". Following by this, as the whole folder structure these users see in Desktop connector is in a mess, they can't upload anything in Desktop connector though they do have permission to those sub-folders. This is really frustrating that obviously the dev teams for DOCs and Desktop connector were not aligned. I do hope this can be brought on the table for the dev team of the Desktop connector, and hopefully there will be a fix to this in near future software update. Show More

I would like to have a Review submission to be set up alongside the Actual submission (e.g. Council, Environmental, Green and other bodies).  All of the relevant documents would mirror what was submitted including the updates where requested in order to inform relevant stakeholder on BIM360 without reverting to an email or forwarding the council responses on the email platform.   The Time allowed would need to be adjusted to suit (e.g. days, weeks, months) also would need to be adjusted based on feedback received from the external party.   We need to be able to lister Reviewer as an offline/external party (e.g. Council stage 1, stage 2, final approval), as the Review goes between the different stages we would update the information on the Review (e.g. Stage 1 Assessment Complete).   In conclusion, we need to be able to create Review workflow that would allow us to track the process happening externally and be able to list the reviewers and the dates we expect feedback. Response received would be Approval Obtained as an example.    we need to be able to link up the documents received after approval to the Review as a single source of information, example would be a letter of approval to be attached after Review.  Show More

Signed and sealed PDF documents must be downloaded and opened in the Adobe application to verify the signature because BIM 360 Docs doesn't allow the "hover" verification of signatures when the document is open within the BIM viewer.
