Welcome!  In today’s blog we will look at 6 alternative methods of creating walls using Revit 2023.  These methods apply to older versions of Revit as well.  In exploring these different methods of creating walls, try to consider the possibility of “how can I break this?”  Think of ways to add or remove content that isn’t the norm.  In doing so, you will find Revit is quite fun to play with.  Enjoy!

Method 2 – Wall by Face Command

  • Using the Wall by Face command (Building Maker tools), you can create non-vertical walls of various types and free-form design with mass objects of various shapes.  The key thing to remember in this method is that you are creating walls by applying them to a face…no matter what shape or curvature of face.
