Snap grips are including coincident objects

I have some lines / poly lines with common vertices: when I select one object's snap grip to move it, all other coincident lines are moved with it, as if I had selected all the objects.

I have not seen this behavior before today. I assume it is some system variable, but I have no idea what is causing this.

How does one stop/turn off this behavior?

That was is. Thank you!

DELCON allowed me to remove the constraints from objects that I had inadvertently created.

Setting the system variable in my SYSVARMONITOR to CONSTRAINTINFER=0 should prevent it in the future.
