Rotate to vertical horizontal

Instead of inputting an exact angle, or having to align to a horizontal/vertical line, could we please have the option to making a line within the selected geometry, horizontal/vertical. I'm certain this feature exists within other autodesk products.Untitled.jpg

Sure.

UCS Object <select a line>

PLAN Current.

Or set UCSFollow to 1, then you don't need the second line.

Hi, thanks for the suggestion, but I only want to rotate certain selected
geometry, not the entire drawing. Is this possible?

Cheers

Hey

I think you may be referring to rotation using a reference.

Rotate command > select object(s)> type R(for reference) > select two points for your reference line >choose the direction of rotation???
