Thank you for posting the idea. Can you elaborate why you are making so many copies of the same file?

I had the same issue several times in the past. A workaround is to re-select the file with RMB and use copy in the copy design dialog again.

This is one use of this function:

I have a file structure for a equipment saved on vault. Each project this equipment has different quantity of sections, so when I copy this file estructure to a new project would be grate to be able to create all the sections files at once, and not to copy, for instance, 5 times the same file with diferente name. This for each sub-section of the design. Also, this section are named secuentially, so is posible to use a name scheme to automate the process.
