Change Order States Enhancement

Currently we use the change order process for all of our engineering drawings whether they are new or going through the revision process.  Our process has our Engineering team 'Create' the change orders then once all of the information is added to the change order or in the Vault, they then push them to Open for the CAD Design team to schedule the work.  It would be very helpful within this workflow to have a 'Reject' option from 'Open' back to 'Create'.  This would allow the Engineering team to add the needed information that wasn't on the change order and force them to update before they can push it to Open for us to reschedule the change order.

That actually sounds like the ECO Flowchart was designed for this. Granted it's more designed for shop workers/managers to deliver requests to Create ECOs but it more like a complaint box with only a Accept or trash bin option. I agree, this should have a reject option b/c most companies don't use this for shop workers/managers (especially b/c of licenses now) and most the time it's drafters/designers/engineers feeding these.

We also use the change orders for all drawing work. The change order process could use a revamp. It would be awesome if we could add steps to the routing. If a approver rejects it, I would like it to go back to work instead of rejected. If we could add a step between work and review that would be very helpfull. We will have our design group do the work and then a internal design group check and then an engineering check. The reject to reject is not optimal
