When you "Create Item" for an assembly, it checks all the files in and then checks them out so that you have ownership of the files. This seems ridiculous to me. I am trying to get my files into Upchain quickly so that others can not use the same item numbers, but I am not ready to check the files in yet as I am not done with the design. Once I am done with the design, then I want to check the files in and there should at this point in time only be one version of every new file.
