Bulk export of customer documentation

Issue:

Upon project delivery, our customers require documentation contain some PDF and STEP files. Upchain does not support a solution, other than a very manual heavy operation of extraction all the information from Upchain, hence high risk of errors. 

The general feature we are looking for is an additional option to limit the bulk export to selected filed. 

3 options could solve the issue: 

a) eBOM attributes:
In the Bulk export eBOM export options, an addition line with check boxes of the available e-BOM attributes. Only files that have a "OK" value in the selected e-BOM attribute are exported. 

b) cBOM attribute “Customer documentation”:
In the CAD plug in next to recommended "recommended spare part" there is added a check box named "costumer documentation" 

During eBOM or cBOM Bulk export it is possible to select "spare part" or "costumer documentation" and only the files from the item that meet the selected requirement.

c) Advanced search:

In the Bulk export eBOM export options there is an “advanced search” possibility to filter items in the bulk export for the selected item.

You are correct. 

I have listed a couple of surgentions, I hope they make sence.  However I can see tha not evertything from option C got included. 

Just to elaberate, then the idea is to filter in item types when making a bulk export. E.g when making a bulk export of an end item where assemblies and subassemblies is selcted in the filter, then all other items (manufactured, purchaed maechnical ect.) is not included in the bulk export. 

Option C is not as good at option A or B as it is not that flexible.

I am exploring two approaches:

1. Have a toggle in both the cBOM and eBOM items that allows the system to recognize that the documents associated with each item are to be exported as predetermined by the user.
2. During the export operation, allow the selection of associated documents based on the selected item to be exported.

probably the most easy for this is create a connection with the API and get only the files with a custom property marked
