5-5-2018 update breaks new, open gallery and save - Android Samsung Tablet

Since the update, I can open a new drawing, open the gallery or save an existing drawing.

Consider sending out previous version until this is fixed.

I did send in a bug on one of the crashes caused during experiencing this...

Here's the procedure I followed.  Once done, I copied in all the *.tiff files into the gallery associated directory and it crashed again.  I sent in the bug report including any of the crashinfo files.

Hello Michael,

The files maybe still there but there is a problem in the Gallery previewing the file.

----

On Android, it's pretty easy, just copy the files from /Autodesk/SketchBook3 > Update on PC > Import back into SketchBook on Mobile (see below)...

https://www.sketchbook.com/help/knowledge-base/back-files-settings/
See:  How to import SketchBook files from an older version into the latest version SketchBook for Android

At this point, I would graciously accept a version rollback as I believe this update is responsible.

Are you running the Tab S3?

How many .tif files are in the /Autodesk/SketchBook3 folder?

Can you reboot device and try going to the Gallery?  Keep SketchBook in Portrait mode when doing it.

Yes, it is the pen based Samsung Galaxy S3.

There are 172 .tiff files in the directory.

At the moment, I've got 3 files in the directory (all new) and everything
works. The Moment I move the old files in, it starts crashing.

#1 Do you want me to copy in the old gallery files, reboot and try going
into gallery (staying in Portrait mode)?
OR
#2 Do you simply want me to reboot (as I can get into the gallery right
now)?

(the last crashinfo I sent in 2 days ago, was the scenario for #1, though I
can't guaranteed portrait mode)

We have had some reports fo SkstchBook crashing when using the Gallery.

1. I am hoping the sketches are 'still' there.

2. Copy the Sketches from the /Autodesk/SketchBook3 folder to a desktop computer.

3. Confirm the the sketches are ok using SketchBook on a desktop computer (170+ files)

Download:

www.sketchbook.com/thankyou

Login with your email address.

4.  On the Android device, create a new folder:

/SketchBackUp

5. Move ALL the sketches from /Autodesk/SketchBook3 to /SketchBackUp

6. Reset SketchBook

a.  SketchBook > {=} > Preferences > Factory Defaults (4 options) - Reset all 4 options.

b.   Settings > Application Manager > SketchBook (Delete Cache) - There are 2 Caches to reset.

7.  Open SketchBook and import 1 sketch and test.  Then import another Sketch and test.

Go to the heading:  How to import SketchBook files from an older version into the latest version SketchBook for Android

http://help.autodesk.com/view/SKETPRO/ENU/?guid=SKETPRO_Help_sb_basics_back_files_settings_html

7. At some point, you can delete /Autodesk/Backup because the files will be duplicated in /Autodesk/Backup and /Autodesk/SketchBook3
