The 120V receptacle will not connect to the 120/208V panel.

How do I get a 120/208V 3PH/4W panel to allow 120V receptacles to connect? I have added the 120/208V 3PH/4W Wye Distribution System in the MEP Settings and set the L-G Voltage to 120. The families  are provided and a screen shot of electrical settings with the error also provided.

I tested and works fine on the Imperial System Revit Template on Revit 2021.

 

Check if your Panel has the right Distribution. (Probably is empty)

And check your Electrical Setting Voltage Minimal and Maximum

Please check if the Type parameter 'BI_Voltage' has the correct value.

 

 

Check also the Voltage Definition.

set the Minimum and Maximum values right.

I noticed you have the minimum and maximum +- 10V. Should I use a 10V separation?

I'm still having this problem.
"Cannot assign or add UPS-1-C-4 to Circuit. The Voltage () for the Circuit is out of range for the Line to Ground Voltage for UPS-1-C-4 (The Line to Ground Voltage is specified in the assigned Distribution System)."

You need to select your Panel and choose a valid Distribution System.

If this is empty your circuit is not able to connect to the panel.

Send images, gonna be easy to find the problem.

 

  • What Voltage is your circuit?
  • What Distribution System are you using on the Panel?
  • What are your minimum and maximum voltage on the Voltage Definitions?

As did I and it does work. This means there's a glitch in my project file that's preventing the two to connect.
I have the Distribution system correct.

If you could share your project file should be easier to find where is the problem.

 

Delete everything, just this panel, and the circuits on the project file.

To connect a load to this panel, it must be a single phase load 120V.

I realize that. Since this posting, I've discovered there were too many circuits and too many panels with the same name; they were in different design phases. I ended up deleting several abandoned items and the connecting to panels began to work.
