MEP Fabrication Ductwork <Beyond> Line Style has no effect

I have a Revit Model where there is MEP Fabrication ductwork being used. In my view I am trying to get the ductwork that is under the floor to show up as a dashed line. I have set my view range so that the ductwork that is under the slab is within the range between the Bottom and View Depth parameters and I have ensured that the <Beyond> line style is set to display a Grey Dashed Line.

The <Beyond> Line Style doesn't appear to have any effect on the ductwork but it does change all he RFA's I have attached to the system. The other items I have checked so far are:

  • Verified that there are no categories overridden in the VG settings.
  • Verified there are no Filters overriding the MEP Fabrication Ductwork line styles.
  • Verified that the Hidden Line Style is set for the view
  • Verified that the Floor in the Linked Architectural Model is visible.
  • Verified the discipline for the view is set to Mechanical instead of Coordination.

Has anyone else run across this or have a solution/work around that is not utilizing (2) Views stacked on top of each other? (see this post for similar issues https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/revit-mep-forum/ductwork-under-a-slab/m-p/4777689#M21931)
