Vertical Sweep on wall structure

Vertical Sweep on wall structure

Right now we have a section view and a plan view of walls in revit when editing structure. When in section view we can have profiles applied to the wall. when in plan view we can't. Why not add the ability to have a sweep vertically set in plan view. Have a distance parameter so that the profile can be "arrayed". This would allow for easier board and batton modelling, as well as stud modelling, and reveal modelling for vertical expansion joints built right into the wall for masonry/stucco or even aluminum composite panel walls.

kindly allow us to add vertical sweeps & reveals as we do in horizontal sweeps & reveals case in wall edit type window also allow us to draw free path for sweeps & reveals on the wall face
many thanks,

This would be super helpful for my office. We spend a lot of time on workarounds for this.

A vertical profile option in the wall types for sweeps and reveals would allow for things like a standing seam metal wall without having to use curtain walls, or for modelling something like a siding profile more accurately

@afazioZDY2G - Sounds like you after some sort of framing element within your wall

You can do horizontal sweeps or reveals into the wall type. Vertical would be nice for metal siding that goes vertical.
