Utilize Assembly Image for Schedule

Utilize Assembly Image for Schedule

Hello fellow users & powers that be,

When creating a schedule, you can add an image (for most of them, far as I know) - I'm looking at assembly schedules for walls etc. personally.

I put an assembly image for floors/walls/roofs in my schedules. Currently I either take a screen shot of the assembly from the Edit Assembly screen, or I build a separate legend schedule and lay it overtop of the schedule depending on how sure we are of assemblies at the time.

Both of these require manual changes and a few more steps than I think it could.

It would be awesome if I could just tell the schedule to pull the current image from the edit assembly page - I do believe the missing action would be detailing like insulation etc....so it would be necessary to solve this...perhaps allow extra detailing on the edit assembly screen. But if that detailing could be specified to show in other views as well, fine but not others for instance, then you've now eliminated quite a bit of section detailing.

Thanks for reading 🙂

There are tons of ways Autodesk can improve the use of images in Revit, and this is certainly one.
