Using Revit as true Electrical Design Tool

Using Revit as true Electrical Design Tool

Hello!

As we are using REVIT as a design tool with our structural, architectural, mechanical, I would like to get it to be a solid Electrical design package as well.

With that said, the Electrical Settings should have the flexibility to add the desired temperature when adding new wire types.  Not all wire falls into the 60/75/90 ratings.

Thanks,

Doug

Hi @DBEGGGPZUZ  - thanks for posting!  You can add Temperatures in Manage > Settings > MEP Settings > Electrical Settings > Wiring > Wire Sizes > Temperature... there is a button for adding new temperatures (see image below).

If you have other specific ideas, please post them!  Thank you.

Martin,

Thanks for the guidance. I was looking at that option incorrectly and I was given a work around which actually isn't needed. Thanks for the clarity.
