Currently you need to hit "OK" in various windows that are stacked on top of each other. To be able to add Wall sweeps, you need to go through all of the windows to edit the settings. Instead, I propose to have additional buttons through which you can access the settings straight away from the properties tab. This way, you can "OK" the changes in one window and immediately see the results. Therefore it is both quicker as it requires less clicks, but it also allows you to see changes to the model by only accepting the changes in one window!
There could be buttons to edit the assembly, or Sweeps directly as short term improvement.
Ultimately, these settings could end up in their respective tabs, where one tab contains the edit assembly settings. From the tab you could edit all these settings without any dialog popping up at all. In this case, the Free and open source program Blender should be used as example.
In Blender, there are side-tabs that bring you directly to the settings you want to edit, there can be convenient icons for them too. In addition, there is a search bar on top that allows you to search for a specific setting to change.
This also allows for Real time preview of edits (separate idea) because changes are propagated without having to press OK in numerous dialogs.
