Type of surface

There is Rental and Gross surface.
We used it for BOMA calculations.
What if we need another type of surface?
Revit don't allowed to duplicate surface type, but we need more sophisticated calculations.

Can you clarify your idea/suggestion?

If you're referring to the Area Schemes, you can just make new ones.

(Architecture Tab --> Room & Area --> Drop-down menu --> Area and Volume Computations --> Area Schemes)

Sorry, i should said area type and not surface type.
Yes you can have different area schemes, but it is always base on the same area type (rentable or gorss)
