I'd like the ability to turn off temp dimensions. They get in the way of the grips and or sizes. I know I can tab through them but if they weren't there I wouldn't have to. I don't want them gone, just the ability to turn them off when I want to.
This feature would be especially useful when drafting many line/detail item/generic annotation drawings. When selecting and moving the items all at once, the temp dimension almost completely cover the details underneath.
Also make toggling on/off accessible through the API. There are times when we want to select something for the user in order to show the element but the dimensions are too large and obscure it.
I don't mind seeing them, it's the little mouse target that converts them to permanent dimensions that always get in the way. I have virtually never used it tbh
