If a Span Direction Symbol is not entirely within the annotation crop, it will get hidden. This is a common problem with dependent views (where the floor slab is shown in multiple partial plans). Span Direction Symbols should not be treated like other annotation, but should instead get cropped or truncated the way Grids are. Ours are usually fixed, but others can chime in on the behavior of how it should truncate (whether the end needs to be adjustable or not). My main concern is that it just be visible.
The same should probably apply to Beam System Symbols.
