Topo Solid Boundary Line

Topo Solid Boundary Line

It would be VERY beneficial to be able to change the "Boundary Lines" of a "Toposolid" to be a "Hidden Line" without having to use the "Linework" command and go individually click on each boundary line to override it.

The site models with topo lines look cleaner without a border. Not sure why this has never been implemented seeing as though there's an awful lot of people having this need on forums, for some time now.

Hello,
I understand your frustration with the current limitations in Revit. Unfortunately, as of now, there isn’t a built-in feature to change the boundary lines of a Toposolid to a Hidden Line without using the Linework command individually. mcdvoice Many users have expressed the same need on forums.

A potential workaround is to adjust the object styles for topography in your project settings, but this might not fully achieve the desired effect. Hopefully, Autodesk will consider this feedback for future updates. For now, using the Linework tool remains the primary method.

Best Regard,
Ellen Hogan

Not sure if this will achieve the exact thing you want, but you can draw your toposolid a bit oversized relative to the size of your site, then just draw a custom cropped region, and hide cropped region lines.
