I just installed Revit 2023 and unfortunately one of the functions that many people expect, still does not exist....
Help inserting a project into a photograph
Artlantis does it, sketchup does it, etc. Why does Revit still not do this?
Instead of spending 2 hours groping for an angle of view and a focal length to adjust our insertion more or less correctly, adding help functions would not be too much to do it in 10 minutes and it would be extremely efficient!
Examples:
- Management of the focal distance with the mouse is not practical, why not put it in digital? All photographs have this value in their properties that could be reused in the revit camera.
- For the angle of view artlantis or sketchup use the x, y, z axes with colored lines to position and the camera adjusts automatically. Revit is a gas factory, it does a lot of things but some basic functions should have been around for a long time!
