Tap (spud)/ Grooved outlet and nested coupling

This issue use to work with previous Revit before 2026.  Would like to have the implementation of using nested families couplings to work with taps.  When connecting the taps with a nested coupling, Revit would throw out an error.  This does not happen prior to Revit 2026 and would like to have the feature be implemented back in.  Help article of Revit 2026 stated that this is fix, due to the instability of Revit crashing, but would be helpful for MEP designer to have this feature be put back in.

Yes this is a big workflow killer, imagine having thousands of spuds on a project.  Now imagine having to now place all the couplings for each spud manually!  This is currently our only option because the ability to nest the couplings inside the spud has been removed and locked preventing us from doing it.  It did cause crashing after some update along the way but the work around is to add a visibility parameter to the nested coupling inside the spud family and simply turn it off while working on the system in the project.  When a count is needed for these couplings or we want to show them in a BIM model we can turn them back on.  With them off the undo button does not crash revit.
