Switchboard

While working with switchboards and  such, would it be possible to change Set Template Options for Distribution and switchboard to have the setting under "Size " for Fixed constant showing inches for breakers spacing based upon industry standards.  If not, have the "Size" set for 3 pole breakers with the variable that if a 2 pole breaker is used, the software will know a single pole breaker is available.  Electrical will not typically use a single pole breaker in these application and rarely a 2 pole breaker.  Not saying never, cause it will happen.

Maybe Autodesk can use a workaround in Revit for Switchboards Templates, if the user has number of 1-pole spaces set to "0", then the physical number of spaces shown as determined by the actual template setting.  I say this because if I set the Switchboard template to 16 spaces, the actual schedule shows 16 spaces.  The major problem is, for switchboards, the industry uses 3 pole spaces, not 1-pole spaces in switchboard and distribution panels.  Under the current format, 16 spaces will only allow the user five 3-pole circuits for connection to the switchboards.  If you go by the other setting, you can allow the user to define the spaces used.  Only issue is, with the setting set to "0", the panel will never know when it is full.  Autodesk will have to put a setting in there to verify spaces used to avoid this.
