Hi team!
I would like to suggest an enhancement to the Worksets functionality in Revit. Currently, when exporting to IFC, it's possible to filter elements by Worksets, which is very helpful. However, it would be extremely useful to allow users to group Worksets into custom categories or collections, especially when managing complex models with many Worksets.
This feature would make it much easier to:
Export selected sets of related Worksets as a single IFC file.
Organize and manage export sets by project phases, disciplines, or teams.
Reduce manual effort and potential errors during the export process.
Being able to define and select groups of Worksets for export would significantly improve workflows, particularly in large collaborative projects.
Thank you for considering this improvement. It would be a great addition to the IFC export options.
