Why do we waste time offering ideas to something that should not have ever been released to the public in the first place?? We should not be having to point out serious user interface problems such as this one... (and there are many of them) Edit connection types for steel connections is the worst! Autodesk!!, just look it!!! We spend so much time stumbling and fumbling around trying to "communicate" through this awful user interface just to achieve the task of designing a simple connection, ... yes, a simple two hole base plate!! (see attached pic). The reference picture on the top, far right is too small and does not represent the actual connection. Words are cutting off at the auto collapsing list, as it is way too narrow, and you can't widen it either. There's so much usable space in this dialog, why is it so ugly and complicated the way it is now??? Where's the quality control? Where's the creativity? I could come up with a way better concept than this!
I used Revit 40-60 hours a week for 12 years now, and the improvements over the years has been very slow, or not at all. Why is this software so sloppy and limited? I can see why many architectural firms/ engineering firms hate Revit! Autodesk, please do better than this...
